Salmon Oil
Fresh, all-natural salmon oil
Cardio Salmon Oil (OmeGo®) provides all the benefits of fresh fish, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It is a very stable, natural product with four years of shelf life.
Fresh with very low oxidation levels, its natural form means it’s more easily absorbed than commercial fish oils and contains minimal amount free of fatty acids (0.1 %-0.2 %). Hofseth's process allows for full separation of the raw materials at low temperatures, thus avoiding oxidation, and separates all the fat from the protein into oil ingredients.
Hofseth has a patented data claim for the reduction of a highly inflammatory form of “bad cholesterol” (ox-LDL GP1), that promotes narrowing of the arteries (atherogenesis).
Calcium
Calcium bone powder
Strength Calcium (CalGo®) is produced from salmon bones without any artificial additives or chemicals.
CalGo® may help increase bone formation and prevent osteoporosis. The bone powder is a 100 % microcrystalline hydroxyapatite form of calcium that may help increase osteoclast and osteoblast proliferation to a higher extent than other calcium sources thereby potentially increasing bone formation and protecting against osteoporosis (thinning of the bones).
Hofseth's process allows for full separation of the raw materials at low temperatures, thus avoiding any harsh processing conditions and maintaining the natural quality of the collagen and calcium in CalGo®.
Protein
Salmon protein hydrolysate
ProGo® is a protein for sports, endurance, and recovery powders. The protein is clinically proven to reduce BMI and body fat. It is ideal for powder formulations, bars, drinks and tablets, and it has also been proven to address iron deficiency anemia.
ProGo® is highly soluble in water due to its low peptide molecular weight. This also gives the protein the fastest uptake of nitrogen compared to any protein, with more than 98 % digestibility. With its very low fat and ash content, ProGo® delivers pure peptides like no other protein on the market.
ProGo® corrects anemia and boosts nitrogen uptake. A clinical trial demonstrated increasing serum ferritin levels by 140 % in 42 days. Furthermore, ProGo® provides the fastest uptake of nitrogen compared to any protein, with more than 98 % digestibility.

MIDSUND: Spray-Drying Plant
Situated right next to the hydrolysis plant, the liquid protein is immediately spray dried after the hydrolysis process. These facilities have enabled Hofseth BioCare to control the entire protein value chain from sourcing of raw material through to final product. Spray drying is a central and crucial part of the production process for ProGo.

Friend Of The Sea
Friend of the Sea is a project of the World Sustainability Organization for the certification and promotion of seafood from sustainable fisheries and sustainable aquaculture. It is the only certification scheme which, with the same logo, certifies both wild and farmed seafood.
